Parking & Transportation

The Parking Office window is open 8:30 am to 12 pm & 1 pm to 4:30 pm to assist with any in person parking needs. We are located in University Hall 1766. Otherwise please email parking@lmu.edu or call 310.338.1681 for assistance. Thank you.

Paid parking is enforced Monday through Friday, from 8am to 8pm.

Sector parking is enforced Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Students cannot park within faculty/staff areas during this time. 

California Vehicle Code (CVC) Regulations, Timed Spaces, and Reserved Space(s) are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking and Transportation requires that all drivers review the Rules & Policies prior to parking on campus.

Vehicles not in compliance may be cited and/or towed at the owner's expense.

LA Metro Celebrates Bike Month in May

LA Metro is celebrating Bike Month in May with free rides and month-long promotions to encourage everyone to get outside, ride a bike and use Metro as part of their journey. To help riders ride more, drive less and feel good, Metro is offering the following:

Metro Bike Share: The 30-Day pass and Reduced Fare 30-Day pass will be available for just $1 during May with promo code BIKEMONTH25.

Beginning May 12 through May 16, Bike Share will host a flash sale offering 50% off the full fare 365-Day pass at $75 and $25 for the reduced fare 365-Day passes with promo code BIKEANYWHERE25 – these are for new users and those who do not have an active 365-Day pass.

On May 15, riders can redeem free 30-minute bike share rides by selecting “1-Ride” at any Bike Share kiosk, and entering the promo code 051525. Rides longer than 30 minutes are $1.75 for each additional half hour. For more details about all Metro Bike Share promotions, visit metro.net/bikeshare .

 Metro Buses & Trains:  On Thursday, May 15, join us in celebrating Bike Day by enjoying FREE rides on buses and trains – leave your wallet behind and hop on any Metro bus or train without worrying about the fare.

 Win Prizes:  Do you bike to work? If so, you’re in luck! Throughout the entire month of May, bike commuters who track their trips (including bike share riders) on the ridematch.info calendar will be entered into a random drawing to win some great prizes including an e-bike from Torrance Bikes, road bike from DTLA Bikes, folding and city bikes from Easy Bicycle, commuter bike from Pat’s 605 Cyclery, road bike from Helen’s Cyclery, commuter bike from J&M Bike Shops, and helmets, gift cards, lights, locks, apparel, and bike tune-ups!  Bike Hub:  Beginning May 1, Metro Bike Hub will transition to a free-access model, allowing users to securely park their bicycles. To enhance security, Metro is also installing new bike lockers within the Hubs – to learn more visit metro.net/riding/bike-on-metro.

Bike Lockers: In celebration of Bike Month, metro and partner eLock Technologies is offering $5 in parking credits – load $5 onto your BikeLink account and use one of the new bike lockers to receive an automatic $5 credit! Learn more at bikelink.org.

Introducing the Student Adventure Pass!

**Beginning July 1, 2025, the Student Adventure Pass will come to an end**

We are excited to share an exciting pilot program available to our students by Metrolink, the regional rail here in Southern California.

Metrolink recently launched the new Student Adventure Pass, which enables students to ride the train for free! All you need to do is download the Metrolink App, register using your student email, and verify your account via the confirmation email (you may need to check your spam folder). The Student Adventure Pass will appear in your mobile ticket wallet within 24 hours.

You can use the Student Adventure Pass any time to travel system-wide for free. You must activate your pass each day you travel before boarding the train and present your student ID to the fare inspector upon request.
